This year, The Sentinel will offer both first- and second-team All-Sentinel wrestlers.
The teams have been selected and we're currently finalizing everything for the final, end-of-the-season package that will run, at the latest, in early April.
Not one area wrestlers finished with a state championship, so that made picking a Wrestler of the Year extremely difficult. There were three solid choices and each one had a resume strong enough to be honored as the best wrestler in the area.
In the end, we made a final, difficult decision. Who is it? You'll have to wait to find out but hopefully it'll be worth your wait.
Also, the baseball preseason page will be published either March 24 or 25. A special thanks go out to all the area coaches for promptly getting back to me with their information.
The days between the end of the wrestling and the beginning of baseball are the most hectic of my year, so I sincerely appreciate everyone's help.
