Mid-Penn Realignment: Football

Here are the new divisions for the Mid-Penn Conference, effective at the beginning of the 2012 school year. We'll post the alignments for football, wrestling and baseball, the three sports that I cover at The Sentinel.

Keep in mind, the below classifications could change when the PIAA announces its new enrollment figures later this year.

Commonwealth Division

All schools Class AAAA

Carlisle, Central Dauphin, Central Dauphin East, Chambersburg, Cumberland Valley, Harrisburg, Mifflin County, State College

Keystone Division

All schools Class AAA unless noted

Bishop McDevitt, Cedar Cliff (AAAA), Hershey, Mechanicsburg, Lower Dauphin, Palmyra, Red Land, Susquehanna Twp.

Colonial Division

All teams Class AAA unless noted

Big Spring, Gettysburg, Greencastle-Antrim, James Buchanan, Northern, Shippensburg, Waynesboro (AAAA), West Perry

Capital Division

Boiling Springs (AA), Camp Hill (A), East Pennsboro (AAA), Middletown (AAA), Milton Hershey (AAA), Steelton-Highspire (A), Susquenita (AA), Trinity (AA)
