For the record, Cumberland Valley beat Erie Cathedral Prep this morning, 48-9, in the consolation bracket's second round. The Eagles meet the loser between Central Dauphin and Central Mountain at 1 p.m. in the consolation semifinals at Giant Center.
CV collected six bonus-point wins and a forfeit against three losses. CV sophomore Mike Evans lost for the first time this season in a 5-2 decision to Nick Milano at 171.
