The elimination round for Class AAA kicks off in roughly 30 minutes as Cumberland Valley tries to defend its bronze medal. The first step is an encounter with District 1 runner-up Council Rock North, a team that lost to Central Mountain, 37-27, in the second roud.
That bit of information is important because the District 6 Wildcats had a much easier time disposing of Connellsville in the quarterfinals than they did of the Indians this morning.
CV coach Dave Heckard admitted he was worried how his Eagles will matchup with CR North, saying the winner could be the one who earns the most bonus points.
