Two matches highlight the evening session of the District 3 individual wrestling tournament at the Hersheypark Arena (right).In Class AA a pair of rivals – Boiling Springs’ Ean Starner and East Pennsboro’s Charlie Bise – meet for the third time this year. In the two previous meetings, Starner handled Bise 17-6 in January and took an 8-6 win last weekend for the title at the Section IV tournament.
In Class AAA, Cumberland Valley’s Tom Wiechelt meets Carlisle’s Jayson Wilson in a battle pitting rival schools.
Other local AAA wrestlers still alive for district gold include CV’s Bryce Busler, Joey Napoli and Mike Evans, Big Springs’ Mallie Shuster and Cedar Cliff’s Keith Dickey.Local entrants vying for gold at AA include Boiling Springs’ Joe Spisak and Dakota Kuhn and the Susquenita tandem of Joe Harper and Derec Sauve.
