The Carlisle wrestling team will more than make up for being idle this weekend.
The Thundering Herd welcomes Mid-Penn Colonial Division rival Waynesboro to Swartz Gymnasium on Dec. 5 and hosts 16 other wrestling teams to Gene Evans Gymnasium two days later for the Carlisle Invitational.
The Invite gets underway Friday, Dec. 7 at 4:30 p.m. and resumes at 10:30 a.m. the next morning.
Mid-Penn participants include Big Spring, Boiling Springs, Chambersburg, Greencastle-Antrim, Hershey, Red Land, Shippensburg and Susquenita.
