Carlisle notches first win

A four-run rally in the top of the fourth inning lifted Carlisle to a tight 4-3 win over Mechanicsburg at Memorial Park on Saturday in a Mid-Penn crossover.

Jimmy Craine, Derrick Mease and Jordan Blackburn all went 2-for-3 for Carlisle, which got a complete-game three-hitter from right-handed pitcher Kyle Harren.

Harren struck out seven, walked one and was responsible for only one earned run.
The win was Carlisle's first in six outings this spring.

Sean Burkholder went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Wildcats (1-4). Matt Chiampi allowed four earned runs on nine hits with four strikeouts and a walk in a complete-game effort.
