In my column that ran in Monday's edition outlining the history of the District 3-6 Class AAAA champion's performance in the Western Final, there was a factual error.
Bishop McDevitt running back LeSean McCoy was a junior in 2004 when the Crusaders lost to Pittsburgh Central Catholic, 44-0. The next season McCoy was a senior but was sidelined with an injury and didn't compete in McDevitt's 14-13 loss to McKeesport.
I apologize for the mistake.
