Games of the Week (March 30-April 4)

This week we fall headfirst into divisional play starting Thursday. Sure, there's been a few division games so far but the action really picks up later this week. Let's take a peek at the week ahead and highlight some of the top games.

Camp Hill at East Pennsboro, Tuesday, 4:15 - Matt Spiegel, Tyler Shover and Seth Crossley make their return to Enola, where they helped Post 751 win the Cumberland County Legion title last summer. Both teams are off to scorching starts (East Penn, right, is averaging 12.5 runs per game while Camp Hill has knocked off Susquenita and Northern) so this should be exciting. These two split a pair last spring.

Northern at Shippensburg, Thursday, 4 - Neither team has gotten off to the perfect start. Northern is 2-3 after a brutal non-division slate and Shippensburg hasn't played a full game following a seventh-inning suspension at Greencastle-Antrim. Could be a Colonial slugfest.

Cedar Cliff at Cumberland Valley, Thursday, 4:15 - Those early one-run losses will either make CV better or hurt the team's psyche. A stiff Commonwealth-opening tussle with Cedar Cliff, a preseason division favorite in some circles, will tell a lot.

Bishop McDevitt at West Perry, Friday, 4:15 - These two always have entertaining games and this should be no different. Both teams lost a ton from last year but have managed to stay competitive. It's games like these that will determine district seeding.
